New Bathtubs & Showers Ideas
Show It
The Acrylic Pedestal Tub is a semi transparent bath tub that is elevated. The ones that I saw in the market are green, blue and white but you might be able to see other colors if you just look harder and check other shops.
Bubble Bath
You can use marble and put it between the wall and the shower wall. the advantage of this is that it allows you to use the supporting frame as a corridor to put your soap, candles, wine (you like having it in the bath, right?) and other stuff. It naturally needs to have a faucet on the side and is usually big enough for two people to fit in.
Keep It White
The White Acrylic Tub usually requires a space separate from the shower. It is usually stands alone. The plain and solid white color of the tub is usually coupled with flowing design that gives it both the modern and antique feel. It also become an architectural focal point in the bathroom and would require a special plumbing for the water to be delivered to the tub.
Steel Is In
Stainless steel may also be used as a bathtub. This gives a very high end and luxurious style. This reminds me so much Japanese bath tubs perhaps because of the color. It would be nice to match this with an all white walls and floors as the color of the steel becomes an exact contrast making the bath tub the center point in the room. If, however, you decide to make the walls dark in color, it will create a mysterious feel. Maybe gloomy but still mysterious.
On The Floor
You can actually submerge the whole bathtub into the floor. The top of the bathtub is almost the same level as the floor that allows it to not be visible but don't you just love the feeling of going down to the bottom than stepping into it?
